We Want to Hear Your Music

Are you a Christian artist, worship leader, songwriter, or musician with a passion for sharing your faith through music?

Alabama Worships is always looking to discover and encourage emerging artists who are actively pursuing their calling and using their gifts to glorify Jesus. Whether you write original music, lead worship, or minister through song, we'd love the opportunity to learn more about you and hear your music.

Artists selected through this process may be considered for future Alabama Worships events, worship gatherings, artist development opportunities, and other ministry initiatives as determined by the Alabama Worships leadership team.

While every application is prayerfully considered, priority is typically given to artists who have music available on streaming platforms, are actively serving through music ministry, and demonstrate a commitment to both their craft and their calling.

Local Artist Spotlight Nights

Showcasing Local Talent. Building Community. Supporting Original Music.

Local Artist Spotlight Nights were created to provide emerging and established artists with an opportunity to share their music, connect with new audiences, and grow their presence within the community.

Hosted at local venues throughout Alabama, these intimate, ticketed events give artists the opportunity to perform original music, share their story, and connect with listeners in a meaningful way.

We believe local artists deserve opportunities to be heard, supported, and celebrated.

What to Expect

Artists selected to participate in Local Artist Spotlight Nights will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform original music in a live community setting
  • Share their story and creative journey with attendees
  • Connect with new listeners and supporters
  • Gain exposure through Alabama Worships promotional efforts
  • Have their performance featured on Alabama Worships social media platforms and YouTube channel
  • Receive promotion that includes artist biographies, social media links, streaming platforms, websites, and other information provided during the application process
  • Receive a small honorarium in appreciation for their participation

Partnering Together to Promote the Event

Local Artist Spotlight Nights are community-driven events, and participating artists play an important role in helping promote each event.

Artists selected to participate will be asked to:

  • Share event announcements on their social media platforms
  • Encourage supporters, friends, and family to attend
  • Help promote ticket sales through their network
  • Engage with event content leading up to the event

Our goal is to work together to create a successful event that benefits both the artists and the Alabama Worships mission.

Why Ticketed Events?

Ticket sales help support event production costs while also providing a sustainable way for Alabama Worships to continue creating opportunities for local artists throughout the year.

By attending and supporting Local Artist Spotlight Nights, guests are helping invest in the growth and development of local music and creative talent across Alabama.

Artist Selection

Applications are reviewed throughout the year by the Alabama Worships leadership team.

Artists may be selected based on factors such as:

  • Original music and songwriting
  • Performance experience
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Alabama Worships
  • Community engagement and promotional participation
  • Overall fit for upcoming Spotlight events
